About the Event
Everyone experiences grief differently. There is no rule that says grief has to last for a set amount of time, or manifest itself in a certain way. Our grief journeys are unique. Grief is also a process that has to be worked through. It's not something that anyone can 'heal'. Yet sometimes we need a helping hand in that process. Sometimes we want to share with people who understand. Sometimes we want to explore our emotions in a safe and non-judgemental environment, to help us on our journey.
Join me for a weekend retreat (Friday evening to Sunday afternoon) where we explore grief. The retreat will be small, friendly, and personal in nature - laid back, welcoming, and non-judgemental. It's a safe space to explore.
The retreat is held at Norton Grounds in the North Costwolds. The weekend's accomodation and activities are held in the stunning converted barns on this rural working farm.
Over the course of the weekend, we include a mixture of creative work, outdoor nature, reflection, and mindfulness.
We explore what grief is and what is 'typical'. We explore how we are feeling, and what we might need to move forward in our grief journeys. We also include some fun and laughter.
I am a qualified coach and mindfulness teacher, with both training in and personal experience of grief. I create a safe and supportive environment for you. This retreat is perfect for anyone who has recovered from the initial shock of being bereaved and is seeking help to move forward on their journey.
If you are sadly recently bereaved or suffering from complex grief, I would recommend finding a counselor or therapist you can talk to.
I have your best interests at heart and will be seeking to have a conversation with each attendee, on booking.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me.
